Who make the best custom handles

I was wondering who makes the best custom handles I originally wanted a bobs razor works handle but missed the boat and have ordered a UFO, how do the compere.

Rafael's work is exquisite and almost on par with Bob's, in my opinion, if not equl. i can guarantee that you will love his handles.

I am excited to see handles being made from a few different sources, I have a few UFO handles on order (can't wait), I also have a couple handles from: http://griestshaving.weebly.com/ (the brass one is his new offering and is an awesome price IMO, he said there are more to come...)

+1 on the UFO handles. I have a Kaiser and a Kaiser Short. I prefer the Kaiser short of the two.... but they are both works of art. I just like shorter handles.

I am glad to hear someone is making handles again. There has been a dearth of handle makers since Cooncat Bob passed on (RIP).

Pat at PC Woodcraft makes gorgeous wood handles. I have one in cocobolo wood that is outstanding. I know they fit Jaggers & Muhles, but not Fatips & Joris/Plissons.

I've ordered one a couple of days ago; then received this email:

Hello my friends. I send this email to all who are waiting. I use BCC to not reveal your email address.

Bad news. An important failure in the Rafael's lathe will take at least two weeks more awaiting time for you. This is a forecast. There are four handles that can be sent in a few days, when they be polished, but the rest must wait. Sorry. And I apologize. But the machine suffers greatly with knurling and broke.

Kind Regards, Juan.

I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer....

UFO is top notch! Rafael is a true artisan, and is passionate about his work, not allowing for any 'compromises' with his pieces. Juan is wonderful in terms of maintaining communications and providing updates in terms of order/manufacture/shipping etc.
