I've been a member here for a few months, and a DE shaver for nearly as long. I've been getting some truly BBS shaves with my Grandfather's 1955 Flare Tip thanks to the guidance I received here at B&B!
Since beginning the journey into wet shaving, I've been interested in straight razors. But the ins & outs of stropping, honing and of course the shave itself are intimidating to say the least; and I really didn't want to drop a decent chunk of change on equipment I might ruin, or not even like!
Then I read about whippeddog.com and the sight unseen deal, which lowered the entry point for a shave ready razor & strop kit to the degree that I simply couldn't resist.
So, I will be reading up on techniques and how to keep my ears attached while I wait for it to arrive!
