Which TOP two bands brush to choose?

Hi mates!

I'm looking for a good two bands brush for soaps and facelathering to complete my collection and I was wondering what is your prefered to choose with better value for money. I have seen these ones:

- Vie&Long two bands 24 mm.
- Thäter two bands 24 mm.
- Morris&Fondran Blonde Badger
- Semogue SOC two bands

I don't consider Simpsons has its two bands hair is simply too expensive for me, and I rejected TGN knots because I had a bad experience with a Finest knot (too firm and scritchy)

Opinions please?

Cheers!

In that set-up the Thäter. Depending on your preferences you may also try WSP 2 Bands that are very soft and right now a bargain price wise.

Thanks for you advices, mates!

I don't know those WSP brushes, I have found them in Ebay in they have a curious Kent-like handle although they are not specially cheap...

Which kind of hair they use? TGN knots or what? Where can I get more info about them?

Cheers!

There are some review threads here and on another forum... Just google WSP Monarch and Prince brushes... 2 Band/Finest

I saw your 4. I have a Rooney Heritage 2XL, Simpson Chubby 1 2band, and M&F Snow Leopard Stubby 1XL. I LOVE THEM ALL! I think you should buy all 4 of them and enjoy them with different soaps. Variety is the spice of life!

Thäter if you want the softest tips.
Semogue if you want some scrub and slight scritch.
M&F (current 2 band hair) if you want in between.

All three have ample backbone for your face lathering desires, so you are zeroing in very well so far. Vie-Long isn't dense enough for me which in turn lacks the backbone I prefer. I don't see why you think Simpson 2 band is out of your price range when the Thäter and M&F will be right up there in that price point.

Don't disregard the Shavemac 2 Band brushes. In my opinion, Shavemac is at least the equal to the 4 you mention. In addition, Rudy Vey and Bob Quinn (Elite Razor) each use Shavemac knots (as a choice) in the beautiful brushes they fabricate.
