Where to buy in Philadelphia

Howdy,
I am looking to get a good shaving soap. Does anyone have any suggestions of places in Philadelphia that have good stuff available? I was thinking of trying Trumper as they make an almond scent which I like.

I live in Center City and was hoping there would be something around here as opposed to someplace that would require a drive (i.e. Black Cat Cigars).

Thanks!

I'm afraid that you can't find Trumpers anywhere close right now. Check out the wiki for all of the known Philadelphia area shops. Your only real choices for soaps in CC are AoS and L'Occitane.

There's a soap available at the Reading Terminal Market that I rate as excellent in all catagories except lather stability. Too much olive oil in the blend, I suppose. It takes a bit of SMF cream and two loads to get a good stable lather out of it. It's protective, slick, easy on the face, and smells good, but it's lathering properties keep it from being a top-notch soap.

Do you remember the name of the shop?

2B Grooming had some T+H products for sale last time I was there, the prices seemed in line with what you'd expect at a B+M.

Do NOT get a shave there, though. Copious blood is all I'll say.
