I'm talking about the incredible piece of art that gave me, for the first time, warm lather all the way through the shave. The Dirty Bird Brush Scuttle in brown glaze really made the experience much greater and more comfortable. Julie was wonderful to do business with also. I have no complaints about this piece, just wonderful. If your thinking about a scuttle get one.

Have you tried either the Georgetown or the Moss? I have a bit of scuttle AD. I don't really need another one, but what do you like about it most?

No I haven't, and must say those are quite lovely too. I like the looks of it, simple yet elegant and feels solid in the hand. Quite ergonomic also. Just my hottest tap water gave me a warm brush and warm lather without ruining the lather. I like how its two pieces which makes for easy cleaning and filling. This is a face lathers dream. The only downside I could fathom is very large brushes probably won't fit which I don't care for large brushes anyway. Julie is awesome too. Great service.
Thanks for the info. I just checked out her site. Nice stuff. I'm not a face latherer, so I may have to go with the 1.5x size scuttle.
