When SWMBO surprises you.

Despite her protestations at my many and varied interests it appears that her true distain and confusion is reserved for my morning rituals. Thus it was that it was with great surprise on my behalf that SWMBO returned from a shopping "expedition" today with a gift pack of Old Spice AS & Deo spray she found at an outlet. Even though I've tasked her with acquisitions on her business travels (a nice Penhaligons leather dopp kit from a recent business trip to London) this is the first time she actually bought me a shaving item without being asked.

Maybe she's coming round...

Who else has seen their partner experience a wet shave epiphany and surprise them?

SWMBO around my place now just lets me get on with it. She has though taken to the Gillette Pink lady I got here for last Christmas. I know she's a lillte bemussed at the amount of AS, Colognes and other shave related paraphinalia in the 'shave cave' but as she says "at least it's not porn and hookers".

We don't buy things for each others hobbies.
we both have to much stuff (her thing is crafts and scrapbooks).

Actually my wife, got me back into DE/wet shaving... and I am really enjoying it.
But I must admit this forum is not helping. She looks a little bemused when the second brush and razor showed up!

Lucky you!...all I ever got from SWMBO was a final warning not to get anymore aftershaves....
