What's your favorite part of shaving?

Mine would have to be the initial lathering. I just love the feel of those firm yet supple bristles scrubbing and massaging all over my face! Canned cream can't touch this (MC Hammer, anyone?).
What is it for you? The smell of the soap? The refreshing cold water rinse? The shaving itself? Share your thoughts!

I love whipping up the perfect lather! And the Lilac Vegetal at the end of the shave just tops it all off.

I love lathering, the feel, the smell, just amazing.
Shaving with a safety is also much more enjoyable, no razor burn, or $15 for for four cartridge razors.

Face lathering for me. I enjoy the feel of the brush on my face.

I also like applying the Alum block as it is the tester of how good my shave is.

Spot on. It's the ability to take some time for yourself, and yourself alone.

Leave the mobile phone in your room, have a nice long relaxing hot shower, and spend a few minutes treating yourself to some purely selfish time. It's a rare commodity, that 'me time' I tell you....and to gain some out of what would otherwise be a daily chore? Why that, my boy, is nothing short of incredible.

It's the entire ritual of shaving which I find really enjoyable. There is no one part that really stands out. For me a good shave is more than the sum of its parts and aside from a clean shaven face, I am left feeling relaxed, calm and centred.

The favorite part my shave is actually after the fact. It's when I'm done shaving and sitting down to a cup of coffee listening to Mike and Mike in the morning... And faceterbating!
