What's new

What's the best water-pik ?

For reliability and cleaning quality ? New implants and want to make sure I get as deep a cleaning as possible...

Thanks Kooze...I thought they cost more, and never knew they used other liquids such as the oral rinses in the bottles...

Bought the "TRAVELER" model over a year ago...110 -220 voltage, use worldwide.Compact, powerful, and a tank large enough for me to do a good job.

Just received a portable, rechargeable model WP-440. I've never used a Water-Pik before, but a full mouth restoration needs some extra care per the Prosthodontist. After only a week's practice, it still takes an extra refill to get around the mouth. Will see how it does at the next check-up.

Costco has/had a kit of a very nice countertop water flosser that also came with a portable one. I own one, though I haven't tried the portable unit. Highly recommended.

I use one of these. A charge lasts several weeks so I don't have to keep it on the counter. Seems to do a decent job as I have caps and bridgework that trap food. This one washes out food particles even flossing misses. When traveling, I pop off the tip and put it in a gallon-size baggie. Initially I had to refill during use, but now one fill is enough. I'd buy it again.

Yeah, I'm looking for one that is hand held.

Thanks
