Daterra Reserve Espresso. Double shot, 5.5oz. cappuccino.
I pulled this one a bit differently. "normale" style dosing in an 18g basket, tamped just enough to give it the necessary head-space. The head space resembled that of a 14g basket.
The puck didn't "knock out" like it normally would. It was soft, saturated, and the shot tasted more even than normal. I did not touch the grind setting.. only the basket.
I almost wish I had drank this one straight.

Nicaragua Esteli- Nueva Esperanza, roasted just past first crack. Meh.
I've never had a Nicaraguan that scored anything more than that, myself. Is it processing or terroir? I suspect processing infrastructure.
