What are these #21 razors like to use, and build wise. I have a #66, is it anything like this? Is it worth getting in addition?

I think they're (#21) better because I prefer the solid thicker baseplate and silo doors that close on each other and not the centre bar. I do prefer the hinge or mechanism of the #66 or Brit Aristocrat Junior.
FOr me these are unlike other Gillettes.

I prefer the thicker base plate... seems to me the balance is somewhat different than the #66's.

Both razors have a weight of 74g. I think the difference is only optically.
Yeah... I know the weights are the same... but they do feel different to me. Likely it's my imagination... still, gotta have them both!
You want a real difference? Try a #16. It's essentially a #66 with the flat base plate, but it weighs 81 grams.

yup - among my very favorites!
And if you want a difference in the other direction, there's always the aluminum #66 that weighs in at 37 grams.
