Compare the RazoRock Cyber razor to the Henson AL13

If you have used both of these razors, how do you feel they compare to each other. I have owned all 3 of the Henson AL13 razors. +,++, +++. I found the + and the ++ to be way too mild to my liking. The +++, I could not get a smooth shave. The blade felt rough like the angle was off or something.

I have the Cyber Medium L2+ and I find the angle and the amount of blade exposure to be just right. This razor, for me anyway, is just perfect. I get a close smooth shave with little effort every time. I would love to hear other opinions.

I too have owned all the Henson levels and also have the Cyber medium. I like them all. I find the Cyber medium to be in a similar range of efficiency as the Henson medium. It is also in a similar range as the Yates Winning. Not the same razor as either of them, but in that similar range of efficiency. It is not as efficient as the Henson aggressive.

Which Cyber do you have? Mine is the medium L2+. That is right in the middle of the aggressive options. I believe they have 9 options.

The Cyber razor has become my favorite razor. RazoRock made a precise design. Just works great.

The Cyber Razor looks like a great design. Now if only they'd make a stainless steel version without the top cap engraving--then I would be really interested.

I have a feeling you would probably like the Yates Winning v2.

I've heard about the Yates Winning razor but never saw one.
I like razors made from a hard aluminum like 6000 or 7000 series.

I find the Cyber Razor to shave much like the Henson Al13 (mild like the +, medium like the ++), except:
- The Cyber Razor is a smidge smoother - I can barely tell the mild ones apart, but it's easier to tell with the medium ones.
- Al13 has better flow-through and mowing down longer growth is easier with it.
- The head of an Al13 isn't as tall as that of the Cyber Razor (or at least it do), with the base plate being a slimmer and less in-head space. To me, that slimmer base plate makes it a bit easier to see what I'm doing.
- On the other hand, the extra bulk makes for a larger guide

The Cyber Razor also works great with a flexible handle to create a pseudo pivoting razor that just maneuvres itself into the correct angle.
I suspect the Al13 would work a treat this way as well, I just haven't tested it yet.
