What would you pay?

Today I saw a cardboard stand-up display holding six mint cased Gem G-bars, with blades. They'd never been removed from the board, much less opened. What would you guess to be a reasonable price for this piece of shaving history? (the price on it was NOT reasonable, imo)

I think I paid $24 for a (non-mint) cased Gem Micromatic... it was missing both blade-banks, the bakelite case was cracked on one ball-hinge, but the razor itself was in good working condition. The original price on this was $30, and I picked it up on a 20% off sale.0

Remember, once you remove one of those mint razors to shave with it, it ruins the entire display. You'll need to keep all of them in the same pristine condition to preserve its value.

Considering that the display you saw was 6 of them, they are in mint condition, and it includes the point-of-sale rack ... I think a reasonable price on this would be in the $150~$200 range.

Well then I was wrong - they're asking $178 and change, which I thought was absurd. Shows what I know! :)

It is worth at least $240 just for the razors/blades alone. It is worth more if it is a complete display.

It looked complete - all the spaces for the cases were filled - and the cardboard/artwork is in primo shape.

I'm no collector either. I'd send pics if anyone here was interested in having me ship it to them. Other than that I've no use for it.
