It was a MFS (mighty fine shave) It is real easy to apply to much pressure though. I've had wedges in the past so it wasn't a new experience.

Oh, I take it Steve never told you!!! he doesn't use his hands but he uses his feet with a wire coat hanger that's his style that's after a bottle of whisky.
I have been interested in acquiring a Wade & Butcher but I have never lusted for one...until now.

Now without pictures! My very basic ERN 445 from Solingen-Wald. Most likely originally a 5/8, now 4/8 or 9/16 across the blade.
Plain Jane is a bit tall and willowy along the blade, but she takes a good edge. 0.1u diamond balsa and linen/roughout horsehide today.

I should unpin the pivot, get rid of some corrosion. But it is a nice tight pivot, and a perfectly centered blade.
Flat, skinny scales, so it is only 1/4" to 5/16" wide. I like my razors a bit more voluptuous.

An early Dorko No.49. It has been waiting for quite some time. It was NOS until I took it for its first ride today. The shave was as joyful as you can expect from a well made full hollow razor. It will be my razor for the coming week.
