I gave the Koraat just 20 ultra light laps on the Gouken to smooth it out a bit. That 12K impresses me more and more every time I touch it! The Koraat is just a very nice razor to use...

A different kind of shave today. I put any preconceptions aside and did everything different from usual. Chinese razor, balsa edge, synthetic brush, and face lather. Actually got a pretty good shave from it.

Amazing shave today and very fun. Have been in the processing of moving for past week and the face was getting a bit itchy so I went ahead and got a shave in. Not the biggest fan of the grip on the mk 31 but for some reason I was loving it on the mk 30. Castle Forbes lime was the soap today

Razor: Imperial 6/8 extra hollow square point
Brush: Rein Dachs
Soap: Arko - this was my first try with Arko (or any soap stick for that matter).

Arko went on pretty good. I got a great 1st pass lather. I tried to use what was left in the brush for a second lather, didn’t work so well. Not sure if that is normal (need to use the stick for each new pass) or I just need to work on the lather more. Will try the Arko for at least a few more shaves this week to get a little more familiar with it.

SR shaves now solidly in the 20s. Did a 2-pass today (next shave only 20 hrs away), no discomfort, no nicks.

First shave with a Filly this morning. It took more work than I would have liked but I got a sweet edge on it. Shaves like a dream.

The Riga, again, given a slight warming over on the Gouken. I've actually done away with one pass in my routine since starting with this synthetic stone, and I could skip another, Truth be told, I'd be very presentable (as presentable as I can make myself) with just one pass. Quite incredible..
A very nice shave, with a nice cast of characters...
