What soap/cream should I get next?

Hi!

I started DE shaving almost a month ago and I tried at least 2 blades from each brand of the sample pack I ordered. Merkur and Derby were fine (by fine, I mean cut a lot more than my cartridge razor), but Astra and Feather glide a lot better on my face. I'll still try more of them to decide, but so far, both seems to do the exact same job, so maybe I'll go astra simply because they are a lot cheaper. Anyway this brings me to the following question.

When I'll place my blade order, I'd like to order something else at the same time. Ordering only blades seems a little pointless lol.
So here I am asking, what soap or cream should I try? Here is what I have so far.
Proraso green soap
Proraso white soap
Proraso green cream
Kent soap

I also want to try a new aftershave, but my choice already stopped on Aqua Velva Ice Blue, so, for now, I don't need opinions on aftershave

As for pre-shave cream-oil, I am very happy with the difference the proraso white cream made compared to using nothing and I'll stick with that for now. (Yeah, I know, I have a lot of proraso stuff, but it seemed so loved in the community that I felt I had to start with this lol)

Thanks in advance for your answers! :001_rolle

For soap MWF and some TOBS Jermyn St cream.

*sigh* just got a puck of MWF and sadly it made my face burn. Something in it just does not agree with my face. Its too bad because I really really liked this soap. I'll have to find someone willing to trade for it. But I agree with you on TOBS. Great stuff. I have avocado and love it.

Prosaro Red cream is great and seems to have more cushioning than Prosaro Green.

I've just started using Dreadnaught cream (sold as "Blue Beard's Revenge" outside of the USA) and I'm very impressed with it. Effortless lathering.

Thanks a lot for all your answers.

I will give a try to proraso red and TOBS. I'll get the proraso in soap, I currently get better lather using a soap vs the cream (and the razor seems to glide better).

I'll keep you posted on what I think about those 2 products!

Depending what side of the pond you are on - The Bluebeards Revenge (UK) or Dreadnought (USA). Same product different name.

Also eShave Orange Sandalwood.

Proraso green is very heavy on the menthol but all the Proraso stuff is great. I'd say try a soap and a cream to see the difference, they both lather very easily. Great value too. I love the red but developed as sensitivity to it :(

Taylor of Old Bond Street creams are great too. Amazing lather! A little more pricey and they seem to get used up a little faster but they're quickly becoming my top pick.
