I have the black-handled boar brush from the VDH Luxury kit from target. does anyone know offhand what size the knot/loft might be?

even if the exact measurements aren't known, could someone give me an idea of where this brush falls in comparison to others?
maybe a "small/medium/large" denotation would work better.

You could use a rule to measure the knot diameter and loft. According to Ken, most brushes are small.
I recently removed the knot from my VDH Luxury boar brush. The knot diameter was around 20-21mm I think. The whole left behind is about 23mm (the knot is inside a metal cup that I also removed).
