I decided to ToBS preshave a second go. This time on face only.
Preshave: ToBS
shave soap: Proraso
Razor: Holy Black SR-71
Blade: Shark
Alum Block
After Shave: Clubman Pinaud

I've always heard to pair an aggressive razor with a mild blade and visa versa. The Holy Black is the most aggressive Razor I own. I'd say even more than a Fatboy on setting 9. I think a shark blade would pair well with a Super Speed maybe. But this combo did great on the face. Got BBS in two passes wtg and across acrosstg. But on my neck.....a lot of irritation.

I'd give this combo an 8/10 if only for the speed at which I achieved BBS on the face.

Full face shave at a mild setting. Three passes (WTG, XTG, ATG), DFS+. Smooth and no irritation. Just a nice Jet Age shave.

I might try @4 tomorrow to see if I can get just a little closer without irritation.
