Help me identify a razor

Hi all. Was hoping you could help me figure something out. The very first safety razor I ever purchased was a cheap Gillette with a black plastic handle from Thrifty back in the 90's. For those of you old enough to remember, how's that for a blast from the past? Anyway, I've been racking my brain trying to remember what model of Gillette razor it was. From what I remember, it had a plain, black plastic handle like the one in this eBay ad (I'm not the seller, I swear. It just has the handle as I remember it), but I could've sworn mine had the butterfly style doors.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I could've sworn it had that exact same handle as the one in the above linked ad, and that the mechanism for opening the butterfly doors was immediatly under the head, not toward the bottom of the handle like on a Super Speed. I remember it having a plain, black handle with a hole in the bottom. Could I be mistaken on what I had? Did such a beast ever exist?

You got me intrigued, I've a very, very vague recollection of a similar razor with the TTo high up, that is under the head. Is this what you were talking about? And, no, I'm not the seller.

That’s a Gillette Super Blue. It costs $5 shipped from China.

Edit: sorry, I now understand your question. I was multitasking when replying.

I'll be damned, I found it thanks to your post with link! It would appear I had a "made in England" version of the Knack. I was racking my brain trying to remember.

I recently stumbled across Shave Nation videos on YouTube and they made me start enjoying wet shaving again. I was fortunate enough to discover safety razors fairly young after being disgusted with cartridge razor prices, even back then. Then I was like "damn, it's been like 30 years." Then I was thinking back to what razor started me on my transition from cartridge to DE/wet shaving. It started with a Knack, then a Merkur Progress, and then a Merkur Futur, which I've been using for the last 15 or so years.

The razor in the ebay ad in the original post is a Gillette Rubie. I know it looks like a Super Blue, but that listing is from Moldova, and the Rubie was sold in the 90s in former USSR republics.
If your razor had the exactly same handle, but was a TTO, it wasn't a Knack, but a Gillette G1000.

In the UK it has been sold as a Super Slimtwist.
