Razor: Blackland Sabre L1 (63)
Blade: Personna GEM Coated (2)
Preshave: Cereve Hydrating Facial Cleanser; Brush: RazoRock Plissoft Monster Synthetic Shaving Brush - 26mm
Soap: VDH Unscented Luxury + Cremo Cooling
Aftershave: Cold water rinse;

Shave first and then shower.

No nicks; No irritation; Very close; Very smooth; This was an easy, pleasant DFS+ shave. A lot of pick ups.

Cheers!!!

Head:
RazoRock GC .84P
PPI Astra SP (3)

Single pass, DFS. I was too lazy to do the ATG pass to get to the full cue ball finish...

Face:
1964 Gillette Slim Adjustable @4
Nacet (3)

Kicked the Slim up a notch from yesterday, and the results were much better. I was also more careful to make sure the blade was fully clamped down. Three passes, BBS.

I'm still not sure a Nacet is the right blade for the Slim, which is not an especially smooth shaver. Today's results are more validating, though.

‘53 “40’s style” Superspeed
Nacet (2)
26 mm Maggard’s synthetic brush
Proraso Green
Aqua Velva

I grew to like all Supersedes a lot. The Flare Tips are mild yet still efficient. The "40's style" are more aggressive and very efficient. When paying minimal attention, I get smooth and great feeling shaves with this razor. If I am not paying attention, it may leave the skin feeling "scratchy". The shaves seem to be closer and longer lasting than with Slims or other Superspeeds.
