what models are these and how mutch would you pay?

Hi.

I just found these two razors on a auction web site and wondered how munch should i pay fore these two. They are sold together, not as one.

I have looked on this forum and tried to find what the models names are and how good they are. I know that they are Gillette but thats about it, and the seller does not seem to know what the models names are and what year they are produced.

I'm new to this forum and to the "classic" style of shaving. I have just always used the latest Gillette there is to buy, but now i am getting more interested in the classic style and art of shaving and this is gonna be my first buy. Or maybe i should not buy these two?

Looks like a #47 and a Aluminum Tech.

That´s a nice start to the "classic" style of shaving with your open comb Popular razor!

Case looks more like a "New Standard" (or Bostonian, etc) from the early '20s. What is left of the logo looks to be the American, rather than the English, type.

While I'm not well versed on British Gillettes, I do think that may be a #47, as well as the other a British Tech. The case, however, I believe is American.

I have only these pic to ground my betting on.
So around 10-15$ for both is that i good deal for me or should i try find something that is better?

the case has the diamond logo around it, that puzzle me little bit with the #47 because in that box it is just plain test.

$10-$15 is a steal just for that popular. The techs are a dime a dozen but that open comb TTO is something you don't see often.

Here is a thread I posted a while ago with the exact same razors, I bid on them, but forgot when it ended, and the guy who sells them now overbid me with $1 http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=166141

I've been watching it this time too, but I haven't placed a bid, as you can see in the pics in my thread the theet are bendt on the popular.
I mailed the seller asking why he was selling them again so soon, he said he had fixed them up to pass them on, I also asked if he had fixed the bendt teeth, but that question he haven't answered.

Ps! I'm not going to bid this time, have bought to many rasorz lately.
