What Merkur Models Do I Have?

Sorry for the newbie question.

I recently sent an email to Merkur/Dovo with a question about two of my razors. I referred to models # 178 and 1904 #41. They replied that those are Amazon numbers not Merkur. What are the Merkur model #s for what I have?

I think the 178 might be a 34C or sometimes referred to an HD. Is that correct? I've seen posts on the board where people refer to Merkur 1904's. What else would it be called? It is the 3 piece open comb version. I can post pictures later if necessary.

Also, my apologies to B&B members that are vendors. I was a newbie and wasn't part of this community. I will try to keep future purchases "in the family"

The open comb 1904 is officially the Merkur 41N (N for nickel plating) and the #178/HD is indeed the Merkur 34C (C for chrome plating).

Qualifications like Classic, Long Handled Classic, Barber Pole, Slant, 1904 and HD are common names here on B&B and in the US but these razors are not named by Merkur that way. Just a number and a C, N or G for the plating.
