looks like one of those old razors.
It looks to me like a Gillette Long Comb New, with a Gold Tech handle.
Definately a long comb Gillette NEW. It is a great shaving razor, and VERY efficient. It can present a lot of blade feel to the face, so just be sure to go slow and keep your angle shallow until you find your groove with it. It can reach up and bite you, but spend a little time learning what it likes and what it doesn't and you will be rewarded with some very smooth, comfortable shaves.

Seriously, I agree with long comb Gillette New with ball end handle. Nice razor, a classic vintage open comb that is very effective and relatively friendly given how effective it is. A light touch and using the right angle are helpful.
It's a FRANKENRAZOR!!! Look at the handle. There are no bands at the top or bottom of it. Yes it appears to be a Gillette New head and base plate, but the handle is not a New handle. It looks like a Gillette Tech handle. Therefore it is a FRANKENRAZOR
Yes, that's a ball-end Tech handle. The NEW's original handle may have cracked and its owner swapped it out, or it may have just been mixed up in a pile of razors somewhere along its travels. Still, the handle should work just fine and make a fine user.

+1, +1. Just started shaving with the LC NEW a few weeks ago, and it's been a revelation. One of the greats, for sure.
