I found a few posts about this brand. Some people saying that it has the softest badger they ever experienced. What is the main thing characterizing it? If you had to compare to other brush what will be the closest similar type from other brand. I am just curious what your opinion is.
The SR brushes are of very high quality, with solid, lathe-turned handles (resin or natural horn) and impeccably formed, dense bulb-shaped knots. I've only used Silvertip, so I cannot comment on their pure and best grade brushes, but the brushes are incredibly soft, without a hint of scritch. They have a very nice balance between density and loft, so that you get nice lather flow through the knot. I've owned and used the 3118, 3322 and 3824 and all have been a treat to use.
Close up of the SR 3824 with some Godrej lather. I can attest to the complete lack of scritch and pure top-end luxury of these quality made brushes. Unparalleled IMHO for bowl lathering creams, enough backbone to attack your triple-milleds with ease and sooooooo SOFT on the face. A chamois-like wall of face-love. And Charles from QEDUSA is a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't part this brush...ever.
I will always have mine. I used it last Sunday to lather up some AdP. Perfect combo. Soft tips, decent backbone, perfectly shaped bulb knot and the handle is perfect IMO too. The size makes it a very versatile brush. Just a joy to use.
