Duke’s is amazing!! I waited years for it to be sold in Las Vegas. I discovered it while stationed in Charleston, SC. Smith‘s thankfully started carrying it over a year ago. It’s the only mayo I use.

Mayo is pretty much eggs and oil, so, its not muck of a stretch. Now, Miracle Whip might be a stretch...

But it is a miracle....my wife (before she turned vegan) hated MW, and we use only Hellman's, both normal mayo and their vegan version.

It is heinous. My wife uses a bit of it in her macaroni salad, with mayonnaise and mustard. Something about helping it adhere to the noodles. Whatever it is, its quite delicious.

I use the rest of the jar to repel raccoons.

I use Duke's. Before that, Best Foods.
Best Foods = Hellmann's.
Einhorn = Finkel.

I bought a large jar because of the hype. Was a Helmanns mayo guy. Tried Duke's and just yuck, was not good at all on a sandwich, but this is my opinion. I wish I could give away what's left (whole jar minus 2 spoonfuls). Just too vinegary and just ewww.

All this talk about mayo and no mention of Kewpie? It’s my favorite by far. It has to be the Japanese version, full of MSG. We usually keep Duke’s on hand for more traditional applications though.

Being from NJ, I now feel like I owe it to a home-grown company to give their mayo a try…

Used Duke’s to toast the bread while making a grill cheese sandwich. A lot of recipes call for mayo to brown/crisp the bread because it has a higher smoke point than butter. I’d say it performed nicely.
