What is a fair price for a NIB Henckels Friodur 5/8?

I can't seem to find any consistently accurate medians for a price on one of them. I see a few on the bay but don't want to bid to much. Any insight? This week be my first straight edge so hence my ignorance in price.

"Fair market value" means the price at which a seller will freely sell, and a buyer will freely buy.

Are you sure you want to get a NOS Friodur as your first straight? I would think about getting a shave ready starter straight that isn't as big of an investment (such as the shave ready GD razors sold on this forum) to learn to shave and take care of your straight before jumping in on a big purchase. But maybe thats just me.

Friodurs are great. Period.
If you're not worried about money, go for it. If you're on a budget and just want to try something out, pick up a razor off the bst for cheap.
