What Does Floid Vigoroso and Alt-Innsbruck Aftershaves Smell Like?

Can anyone describe the scent of these aftershaves?

Floid Vigoroso Aftershave

Floid Special Edition Vintage Vigoroso Aftershave

Alt-Innsbruck Aftershave

And a bonus question - what does "4711" aftershave smell like? Who is the manufacturer? Is there more than one?

Thanks, much.

By the way, is there a way to get samples or testers of these aftershaves? Aren't there some sites that you can purchase aftershaves that someone decanted into sampler packages?

I hate to spend $33+ on aftershaves, only to dislike it. I just received one that I spent ~$30 with shipping and don't like it and will never wear it.

Thanks again.

I think the only difference between vigoroso and the special edition is the bottle, but don't quote me on that. Wife says it smells like bugspray, I think it's kind of musky I guess. (she doesn't like)
Alt-Innsbruck smells like flowers and anise to me, wife says it smells like babies. (She likes it)

Floid Vigoroso and the vintage edition are the same. I asked the seller, Juan from Gifts & Care.
Powdery, spicy, oranges. Classic barbershop.
Alt-Innsbruck is still on my list, so I can't tell you about that one.
4711 Is very citrus-y, lemons to be precise and a bit powdery. But not hardly spicy, like Floïd does.
4711 is a brand of Eau de Cologne by Mäurer & Wirtz, a subsidiary of the Dalli Group owned by the Wirtz family.
It is produced in Stolberg near Aachen,Germany.
You probably can't go wrong with all 3.

The Dutch vendor The Dutch Shaving Shop has lot's of samples, but I would keep looking for a US vendor or order something with it and accept the shipping costs.

Alt-Innsbruck is one of my favorite AS. Both for its scent and how well it treats my skin. I don't think you'll be dissapointed with it. I haven't tried the Floid yet.

My Great Aunt wore this scent everyday and she was a little old lady with blue hair, therefore Alt-Innsbruck smells like little old ladies with blue hair. YMMV

The only scent in AI is tobacco. Think leaves, not smoke (no one is going to smell it and think you've picked up a smoking habit, for instance). It's a wonderful scent -- bright and masculine.

That surprises me! It is a fairly masculine scent and it is labeled as an aftershave/cologne. But there are a few scents that are unisex, Speick comes to mind.

To me, Alt Innsbruck smells nothing like an old lady perfume! At least not the ones I've smelt over the years.
