What do you use to preserve and protect your blades/scales?

Some people swear by Tuf-Glide. Others by Renaissance Wax. Even others by less common oils and protectants. I'm looking to use straights on a more regular basis this summer and I'm wondering what people prefer to keep their blades and scales looking great and staying that way. What do you prefer to use?

For scales ren wax, or neatsfoot oil if they are horn.

for the blade either Tuf cloth (regular version, the marine version lays on a thick coat of goo thats impossible to remove), ballistol, mineral oil, or most the time, I just make sure they are dry before putting away.
