What do with my Derby's.

So I bought 400 Derby's when I was starting a while back ($7 for 100 how could I pass it up?), I havn't even used a entire pack from one of the 100 blade packages. I've learned that I really don't like the blade that much, especially today after going *gasp* 3 days without shaving and had heavy dense growth. Figured why the heck now, revisit Derby. Placed it in my Weber and started to shave... it felt so dull like it had a hard time getting through. I didn't even do a 2nd stroke... threw the blade out and grabbed a dependable Feather Hi-Stainless which was basically effortless. So what would you do with all these blades? I don't know anyone at work who uses a DE razor... or should I save them for daily shaves with less than 24 hours between shaves and definetly not after 3 days.

You see thats why you never should hesitate, especially when the topic is shaving supplies. Try before you buy. I guess you can trash them or donate them to some one who likes the blade.

Put a WTT thread in the BST. I'm sure someone will trade you something for your Derbys or you could just give them away.

You could save some and use them like you said and sell the rest here or on ebay. Or if you know of a charity or something thats having an auction, you could put together a raffle basket and put together a starter kit. Of course that would require spending a little more dough. But think of it as being worth it because you would be spreading the addiction....er rather the classic tradition of shaving.

take them to your local barbershops and see if they want them for doing touch ups.

"Never trash an item" is my motto. Even if its a 99 cent puck of Williams, someone out there can't find it and is wanting to try it and will more than likely send you a few bucks for shipping or trade something they've been wanting to get off their hands. The only exception is Herban Cowboy Shave Soap, the only place that belongs is the garbage!

Definitely PIF them. There are those, myself included, that enjoy using Derbys. I recently stocked up, but I'm sure someone will want them.

I had 4 packs from a sampler to get through... I did not enjoy those 20 shaves.

I get a good shave with Derbys. I could definitely take some off your hand. They are only $8.78 shipped 2 day shipping with my amazon prime acount, which is why I bought them in the first place. I haven't tried any other blades yet, but thanks to a very generous pif I will be trying some other blades soon.

I never liked Derbys but I was lucky that I found out early.
