Looks like a nice Made in Canada Single Ring, serial 217334, and I think I see patent info on the lower band of the handle. The case is from a Standard Set. No one seems to know what the Canadian serial numbers mean, but if that one is original to the case then it is probably 1909-1921. It is difficult to be more specific.

Where did you get it?
I just got my first single ring a couple of weeks ago, no box though. It may be my favorite razor, smoother than my fatip, if not quite as aggressive. Mine is 101 years old, that's the late Jurassic period in dog years.
