It was once again a day of firsts other than the Sabre.
First use of the AP400 brush. I was skeptical at first when I received it because the knot is only 22mm but I was surprised at how much lather it holds and the handle is super comfortable in hand. Will be buying a larger one when they are in stock.
Seaforth! Heather. Super slick lather, the scent is amazing. I can see me wearing the EDT on days that I don’t use the soap. I got compliments from my wife and my 14yo son gave me a “ Hey Dad, you smell good, I kinda like that one”, and getting any kind of compliment out of that kid is rare.
Back to the grind tomorrow hope you all have a great Sunday.

Summary:
A really enjoyable, relaxed shave today. The result wasn't quite BBS, but I was taking things easy and not going over rough patches multiple times. I aimed for a single stroke x 3 passes, with lathering between each pass. I admit to going over a few patches where I did a few extra strokes. My beard has a swirl beneath and to the right of my chin which makes it difficult to get a smooth shave in that area, which also happens to be pretty sensitive.
I recently started using an alum block as part of the post-shave routine, and I'm not sure whether it's something I would use every day. Still, my face feels good afterwards.
The Body Shop shaving cream is really, really good.

The Body Shop shaving cream is really, really good.
I have Sublime Citrus, Classic Almond, Wild Rose, Essential Lime, Indian Sandalwood, and Fresh Mint. They all perform great.
My top 3 CRS scents: Sublime Citrus, Fresh Mint, & Wild Rose.
Definitely recommend trying another scent.
Rex Konsul XL razor level 2. I still don't know how this is going to work out.
Astra SP Green Indian blade (6) has no business being this sharp. Cutting force on 6 pound test monofilament is still under 40 grams after 6 shaves.

4/10. Uncomfortable BBS shave with some weaping, but no real nicks and no other irritation. Blade was a little loose again, not as loose as the other time. If this keeps happening one of you guys might get a really good deal on a Konsul XL in Deluxe Gold. Or not. I like looking at it.
