Score: 9 / 10
Summary:

An amazingly close and smooth shave today and a 10/10 right until I applied the aftershave. It stung like crazy. I'll put that down to the new 7 O'clock blade.
Post shave is fine - no irritation or lasting discomfort.
The soap is quite thick and takes a bit of work to fully dissolve, but is smooth and has an amazing exotic scent - a real pity it has been discontinued. The subtle

Hot water splash to prep

Rex Konsul razor. Only my second shave with this. A little too close tonight.

Astra SP India blade. Dulled very little on this shave, from 34.3g force to 35.3g force to cut 0.15mm monofilament fishing line. Probably statistical, but the next few shaves should tell.

Omega boar brush, Liveben bowl, and TRC towel. Quick and nice lather. I didn't feel like screwing around. I seem to get.cuts with this cream, but I still want to use it up.

Proraso green pre cream, cream, and splash.

Cold water and alum to stop bleeding.

Cremo #10 cologne. Fresh, but a little bit wintery. Fine for a cool dark Spring night, though.

6/10. Very close clean shave, but lots of small nicks and some irritation. I was surprised the blade had remained quite sharp when measured afterward.

7th use of Yates 921-H Ti scalloped / Perma-Sharp (3)

Usual daily 3 passes

Well, after 7 shaves, I find right moment to share my experience.
Yates 921-H works very well for me, extremely smooth, shave has nice efficiency. It works best steep to neutral for me. I can do whatever direction stroke, angle.. and no cuts, no irritations.. very forgiving razor situable also for beginners (I think)
Efficicency is close but not same level as with Blackbird, Yates 921-H is on other side much easier for my skin. For summer I may prefer Yates over Blackbird for daily use.. I ordered also EH plate to try, Yates is fast one of my top DE razors.

Today shave was 9,9/10

Razor: GENCO Fluid Steel
Hone: Belgian Coticle
Brush: Semogue Pegasus 🐗
Soap: Haslinger Aloe Vera
Aftershave: Proraso Green Splash

I apologize for stating that I was going to use Wm. Neumann shaving cream all week. A package of different Haslinger soaps arrived last night and I gave into temptation. 🤫

First use of Haslinger Aloe. A very mild scent, typical awesome Haslinger performance. I like it.

The Semogue Pegasus Boar made lathering the Haslinger very easy.

The GENCO Fluid Steel was easy on the skin but merciless on the whiskers, a good Coticle edge.

Green Splash to wrap up a very nice shave. It goes well with the Aloe Vera and my face feels great.

Blood inside, whiskers gone, great lather, and a comfortable edge…sounds like a 9.7/10 to me.

Good shave today. No nicks and weepers. A slight amount of razor burn from being a little aggressive. The soap, AS, and balm combination was on point both feel and scent.
