Thought I'd give this anothe run out ... performs without any airs and graces resulting in a nice close shave.

The soap doesn't give the same level of protection IMO as the MDC but the balm does perform - albeit in a different way.

The MDC balm is slightly heavier giving a luxurious post shave feel whereas the Pre De Provence is much lighter giving a more cooling effect which is good just not quite as good - probably a balm for warmer months

Really loving the brush !

Second shave with the Topaz blade, I expect that on shave 3 that it will be rusty and to be thrown away. Shave 2 on the Topaz was excellent. The Tech razor is a little more aggressive than my regular razor and suits the Topaz
Hot wash, loads of argan oil soap, rinse, Palmolive stick on the face, lathered up and coconut oil to finish.

GEMonday for myself today, I just love using this Gem Junior 1912 Parade. I have a lot of inexpensive razors and expensive ones but this little jewel blows the whole lot away some days.
