Soap: Barrister and Mann Cool, then Sterling Soap Co. Margaritas in the Arctic
Post: Floid Suave and Proraso Blue Balm
Rating: 6/10 - Had to give up on the Barrister and Mann, I just don't like the lather I get with that soap. I will have to get one full size puck and see if I can load super heavy and get the lather I want, but I might remember seeing a video where it was described as a low density lather, or at the least not a high density one. It worked well enough, but I got frustrated with it during the shave, so I switch back to my Sterling Soap Co. MITA. It worked well. Shave was only a hair off DFS, but the frustration with the lathering experience lowered the rating of the shave for me. This was my third attempt with the barrister and mann and I'm still not totally satisfied with it.
SOTD Nov 22-2019, Third shave with the new Oneblade Core, Nice razor with the Feather FHS-10 blades for 2 shaves and on 3rd shave the blade really drops off. Balm stropped the blade with very minimum positive results(old news for some). Wow, the Yaqi Tuxedo knot brush works well with this soap IMO!
Razor: One blade Core
Blade : FHS-10 (3 uses Max)
Soap : Haslinger Schafmilch
Brush : Yaqi tuxedo knot 24 mm+
Preshave : Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Aloe Vera on beard area.

The caps on the R89 and the EJ DE89 Kelvin are showing some pits/corrosion. They consistently give me pleasant DFS+ shaves, so i’m Thinking about replacing them. Seems silly when the GC68 does the same thing but with sharper blades.
This soap from Lainess for Le Pere Lucien with Donkey milk and honey is a very good performer - just not convinced by the scent !
I love vintage stuff and really want the Fatboy to better the Karve but TBH it is a little behind in smoothness - still a close shave on #5 with touchups on #7 but not quite as enjoyable ... more practice required with it I think
Skin felt great post shave and the MDC balm just made it even better
