Hot flannel shave this morning. Good work by the TT. This one's a regular from the vintage selection, though I'm not sure I've popped a picture of it here before. So here's one :

The brush is a couple of years old now and getting good. Seems to like getting stuck in with MWF, which lives in a wooden bowl (though I'll probably splash out on the ceramic one for the next puck), so things look consistent. The aftershave is getting low in the bottle, but if I can squeeze another ten goes out of it, it will have done well.

Good stuff. I'll call it a "9".

Notes to today’s shave:

Inspired by Doug's (@Rosseforp) post on the Flat Bottom Tech - Wolfman comparison I got my Tech out for an excellent Sunday shave. With three passes to an almost marble finish my Flat Bottom Tech reigned supreme and let me know that even though there is a new king in town, this golden oldie still has a lot to offer. I have to admit that the Timeless did an outstanding job yesterday and so we started the day with less stubble than usual.

The Bolzano was on its 7th run which exceeds the first Bolzano blade and it was super smooth in the Tech. No troubles at all and the Gillette Slides were simply bliss to perform. So far great performance of this Discovery Blade at the gracious courtesy of @Space_Cadet and @Grundi.

Proraso provided a nice mentholated chill with each pass. Floïd's stang a little telling me this was a close shave and Nivea put the skin back at ease.

Every time I use SW I'm impressed with how good their soap base is. I actually just bought a Desairology set used! I can't wait to try it and the scent profile sounds incredible.

Excellent back to work shave this morning after a great extended holiday. Lost power for a bit this morning but luckily it came back in time to get in my shower and shave before work.

Rating: 9.7/10 - Only a one-pass shave but managed to nick myself under my lower lip. A bit of styptic pencil and it's barely noticeable; still kinda stings, though.

Took three passes to get bbs, but sure did it. The merica razor gets the job done and pairs well with the shark.
This soap + the captains choice scuttle was a great discovery for these cold winter mornings.
The glacial splash is ridiculous. I closed the garage with some witch hazel and would consider this to be publicly acceptable.
Can’t skimp on the clothes though! ;D
