Right now, a bottle of 2019 Bandol Rose while the current Mrs. P is getting ready to go for dinner. Then at the restaurant, I shall have a Negroni, and we'll get a bottle of Bordeaux (red). After dinner, I shall have a G&T. Not really a creature of habit...
These aren’t too bad. My mother-in-law gets them from a local place in Maine. They have dried fruits and spices in them, add your spirit of choice, let sit for 2 days, and enjoy. She brought 3 different types with her Raspberry Mojito, Shipwreck, and Maine Margarita. I finished off 3 bottles of “well” alcohol while she was here with these. One vodka, one rum, and one Tequila. Gives me more room on the shelves for bourbon.
Sipping Maker’s. Since the distillery tours, I’m enjoying the differences in the entry level offerings. I went from never having Maker’s (one pour tasted especially turpentine like) to enjoying it’s sweet vanilla and cherry flavor.
I tend to be quite stingy with my nicer bottles. My frugalness means this is a bottle of ~$50. Regardless, several of those are getting low, so the occassions to pour from them are more frequent. Last evening, as I was watching the hockey team I route for play, their leading player scored 4 goals. 4 goals in a single game = 4RSingle Barrel - neat.
Now, if IT is able to resolve the 6 months of lost data that I'm dealing with currently, it'll be another pour. Probably a bit healthier.
