I think I have become a convert to a couple of drops of orange bitters in a martini. Last night I did that with a Gibson. Not that noticeable, but a little extra complexity. I suppose gin is loaded with its own complexity in the first instance. Something like Bluecoat is very citrus forward anyway.
Tonight? . . . or maybe this afternoon! -- Dry Martini with Sipsmith Gin and a good squeeze of lemon oil from a thin shaved rind/zest. Simple, bracing and civilized!!

3 to 1 Martini: Bombay, Dolin dry, a couple of drops of orange Bitters, three olives. Everything a Martini should be. Regular Bombay really is crisp/harsh!
Last night I cheated and had a Newcastle Brown Ale with my steak. Tonight I'm going for a good snort of Buffalo Trace.
