A winter tradition from me and my dad, a nice glass of Wortegemsen. It's a spirit with lemon. Populair on Christmasmarkets and quite rightly so.

Last night, I enjoyed the penultimate pour of a bottle of Oak & Eden's Cask Strength Wheat & Spire bourbon.

Aviation again this evening.
Whistle Pig Piggyback Rye, one cube - billed as a cocktail rye, but pretty nice this way.
Armagnac before dinner and Wee Beastie after. New purchases for me. I love this Armagnac. Quite affordable and on par with cognac that costs twice as much. Wee Beastie is pretty good too. Very peaty.
Jameson's Stout Edition is on the agenda for this evening. Neat, of course.
5 glencairn pours of Blantons while my family watched “In the heights” while I listened to some Bourbon Pursuit episodes using my Bose QC35headphones (these things are great and wireless).
Crown and Coke this evening.
Poured a couple ounces of Blanton's last evening. After a few enjoyable sips, I dumped the rest in some egg nog.
At least you didn’t mix it with Coke.
How is it? I’ve seen it in the shelves but haven’t pulled the trigger.
Gifted this bottle. I believe I have never sampled it. Gave it a splash of filtered water. The nose is similar to that Rare Perfection Canadian Whiskey, though not as pronounced or harsh. I have read that Crown Royal Deluxe is a blend of corn and rye whiskeys aged in new and old barrels. That’s quite a variety! Light and easy drinking at 80 proof with vanilla dominating. It’ll be mixed.
