DE razors. nothing really rare or expensive
What are the more agressive Gillette razors that are reasonably obtainable today?

A 30's NEW isn't yet very rare, either, and most shavers would probably say it's more aggressive than a red tip based on the shave.

You've got it right. While the New open comb is a wonderful shaver, it isn't very aggressive at all.
If you want an aggressive razor that is readily available and inexpensive go for one of the Old Type open combs. That will get your attention.

I really enjoy shaving with my Tuckaway, is agressive and beautiful. Yes they can be a bit expensive sometimes, but now and then you get some in user grade that clean easily and are cheap.
Wouldn't the adjustable always be the most aggressive, given their adjustability?
Try Gillette New Type
Gillette Old type. Requires a light touch, but I found it very efficient.
A slim or a black handle adjustable wide open is pretty aggressive and can be had at a good price if you shop around.
Feels like around a 5 to me.
Red Tip and NEW are moderately aggressive, while the Adjustable (Fat Boy or Slim) give you the best of both worlds.
Fat Boy, Slim, Super Adjustable Black Beauty, set between 6 and 9.
