What are my best options in restoring the scales on this Boker Red Injun razor?

I bought this Boker Red Injun No 101 razor off of the B/S/T mall and was wondering what my best options are for fixing the scales on this razor. I don't want to spend much on it, since this will be my first razor. Do you think I should just try to use it with the broken scales as it is until it falls apart, should I glue the scales, or should I buy replacement ones? If I buy replacement scales, would it reduce the value of the razor for not having the original scales? Please help a newbie. I've been just keeping it in the drawer, not using it afraid not to break the scales and it has been killing me.

Thanks to everyone who replies.

I would say use it until it falls apart then replace them. Broken original vs intact replacement. I would prefer intact replacement.

Use it, A red injun is a great razor. The scales are just Bakelite, nothing real special. The value is in the blade.

While your razor is not particularly rare and valuable, it is a fine blade, well known for being a good shaver. Personally, a cracked scale would irritate me to no end. For $20, I've seen ready made, already assembled scales for sale on ebay. All you need to do is peen your blade in. That would be my choice - quick, easy, and cheap. It will not devalue the razor.
