A Thought on Post "Like" Options

I know that recently (probably actually 18 months ago) the options for different ways to "like" posts were increased with the addition of some new emojis. Some of them get used a fair bit like the one for "gent", but there are others I never see, like "derail", or "g'day" (maybe I am not in the right sub-forums).

However, there have been a few instances recently where members have been dropping rare knowledge bombs on me, maybe regarding the movement of some blade brand around different factories in eastern europe, or the detailed specifications of various elusive vintage razors. I feel like such displays of scholarly aptitude should be acknowledged. I keep looking for the "Professor" emoji option to like their posts, only to find it isn't there.

So, what I am saying is, could we have a "scholar" or "professor" option? Something like:

🎓

or

:smartass:

...although we would change the meaning of the second one from "smartass" to something a bit more complimentary!

Just an idea.

That was kind of the intent of the lightbulb, for idea or good idea icon, but I think your idea is a better representation of it.
