wet electric shave with traditional preperation

i know that most people on here may have a certain hatred for electric shavers which i can understand but id like to share a little shaving secret to all that may be interested.

you can get an incredible BBS, quick and irritation free shave with a wet electric foil shaver such as a Braun series 3 380-s or wet/dry Panasonic if you follow traditional prep: Hot towel, pre-shave oil (if you use it), cream, lather etc (you know the drill HAHA)

upon preparation perform a single pass ATG as you do with electrics, then rub a tiny bit of the lather moisture on your face and go over the missed spots for a second pass

i can get a PERFECT BBS shave in under 5 mins using this technique

DE shaving is definitely the way forward in life and that is what i am trying to master but im just curious if anyone else has ACTUALLY tried this ETC.

It could just be because my beard hair is not particularly thick... this may not work for those with serious tree trunk beard hair

i am not trying to promote electric shaving as DE is THE BEST and is an art form, im just curious if anyone has tried this and what peoples views are on it

This is a shaving forum never used electrics so I don't know how this would work sounds interesting though

I used wet electrics for years. I still have 3 working wet electrics, Wahl, Panasonic and Shave Pro.....plus, have had others that died long ago.

Before DE, I was using a Bic single blade disposable for WTG. Then, I'd use my wet electric, XTG and ATG, of course with shave cream, even brushed on cream at times.....went all directions, but, usually used a Fusion ATG to truly get BBS.

Even if I only used the electrics, Still got razor burn.

The DE is the only way, so far, that I can shave every day, get BBS and not have all the burn, nics discomfort, etc.

Btw, I would even get nics from the electrics.....Sounds weird, but true.
