West Coast Shaving B&B Leather Case question

Recently purchased the WCS B&B Leather case...

http://www.westcoastshaving.com/Wes...e-Leather-Safety-Razor-Case-Brown_p_1284.html

I have an Edwin Jagger DE89BA11, and am going to need to carry it back and forth to the showers in a bag for the next 6 months...

My question is does this type of case affect the sharpness of the blades? I would like to be able to leave a blade in the razor and the case without any damage. I notice the leather does touch the blades slightly when in the case.

Thanks guys.

I'm bumping this 'cause I want to know, too. Anybody?

Also, anybody know if this case fits a long-handled Super Adjustable?

Wow, what a nice case! I really like the B&B logo on it. Doesn't look like it would rub against the blade at all.

That is a very decent price as well.

I have one I use for travel. I use a Gillette new improved razor.
After a year of use, there are some minor cut marks on the inside of the leather,
But I have not noticed any deterioration of the blade.

Same for me. I've had mine since they came out. I stored the razor with the blade still in it. The case does what it supposed to, which is to protect the razor, and other items in your dopp kit. It's a great looking case to boot!

Same as above. I have had it for quite a while, but no issues with the blade at all. Just a few nicks in the leather, but not deep at all.

I would worry less about the blade and more about the case. I have left the blade in the razor a couple of times, and I have small cuts on the inside of the case. Maybe I'm overly cautious, but I do not want the blade, eventually, cutting through the case.

I just got one of these, for two 11-day trips I have coming up this summer. I was intending to pack my 39C in it with no blade installed, along with two blades in the wrapper tucked in somewhere. If that doesn't appear to work, I'll just pack them in with my alum block in whatever container I use for that.

You can tape them onto a can or shave stick as well.
