Congrats - glad you found your soul mate. Mine was over 44 yrs ago but I think I used a Schick Injector with canned goo (GIllette Foamy). I do know that I used OLD SPICE aftershave (my wife still loves it).

I remember my wedding day shave.
I used a EJ DE 89 BA with a PolSilver and Proraso.
I was only 3 months into DE shaving, so I didn't have it down pat at the time. The house was crazy and loud and full of people, in Colombia. I got through it though.

Congrats @dmshaver. I hope you had a great wedding. I’ve been hitched for 13 years and didn’t know what wetshaving was then. If I were getting married today, I would probably go with the R41 razor and B&M Cool soap and splash.
