website suggestions with a variety of shaving soaps

I've been searching for sites that have a wide or fairly wide selection of shaving soaps. Just seeing if anyone has suggestions. Also, if there are any brand recommendation that would be helpful too. Nothing too nice though. I don't really want to be spending over $30 (actually more like $20) for a puck. Just started traditional shaving a few weeks ago. I have Col. Ichabod Conk soap right now but would like to try some others.

Thanks,
Nathan

I've placed many orders with West Coast Shaving and have always been very happy with the service and selection. Great prices too:thumbup1:

D.R. Harris is a fantastic soap that, even with the wooden bowl, comes in at under $30.
Ogallala is an excellent choice if you're into the bay rum.
Can't go wrong with a Palmolive or Speick stick!

West Coast Shaving does have a great selection of soaps. If you want to check out a great selection of fine Italian soaps check out Italian Barber...some recommendations I have are Proraso, Cella, and Valobra...all excellent performers.

I totally agree with Tom. In the North American market these are two great vendors. www.italianbarber.com for Italian shaving items and www.westcoastshaving.com for everything else. In the European market other two great vendors are www.shaving.ie and www.vintagescent.com

+1 on this. WCS & Bullgoose are both highly regarded. You can also get the excellent Mitchell's Woolfat refill (sans bowl) from either vendor for $13.00 + shipping. There are a lot of posts about it so have a poke around & decide if it would be for you.

You can't go wrong with a vendor from B&B (see Luc's list above). It's sort of like a Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. :001_smile
