We have hair, finally.

Weeks ago, I posted a few images of 3 handles I made from Olive wood which are some future Christmas gifts.



After weeks in the shop letting a dozen coats of pure Tung oil dry, I felt the handles were ready for final finishing and knot setting.

Knots: 22mm TGN Finest 2 band XH
Loft: 50mm
Finish: pure Tung oil, then finished on the Beall Buff

Beautiful work. I have a TGN finest set in a spalted maple handle. IMHO, it compares well with my Chubby 2 Best at a far lower cost and is superior to the inexpensive VDH badger.
