Washington Tremlett - Hampstead Water

I just received a small sample in an atomizer. You can read about it here.

Upon application, it strongly reminded me of something. Let's see -- it's clearly citrusy, very transparent, light, warm, springlike ... hmm. What is it? Then it hit me. To my nose, it's very much like C&S's Neroli.

Again, this impression was just upon initial application. It'll be interesting to see how it develops over the next several hours -- and whether or not it's as short-lived as C&S's Neroli. Regardless, right now it smells great!

Hm. I'm really not sure. I think I need to test each of them a little more before I can answer your question in a more comprehensive, articulate way. Right now, all I can come up with is that on the whole, the WT seems to be a little brighter, sweeter & more "fizzy" than the C&S. But that doesn't tell you (or me) much of anything.
