My buddy gave me a sample of Wars Shave Cream (pronounced Varz) from Poland. My initial impression was the strong scent. It reminds me of Tabac, but a little more appealing to me. It's a very masculine tobacco like smell. Then I lathered it up in a bowl and wow does this stuff explode into a thick creamy lather. The cushion and glide are excellent. My face was left moisturized and smelling great for the rest of the day. This cream will compete with any of the top British creams, IMHO. It's a little harder to find, but I found a Polish vendor that is selling it bulk with free shipping. You can buy 4 tubes for $15 or 10 tubes for $30. They are 65g each, so not really big. This is still a great deal, so I'm happy to share it with everyone!

I am also using this cream. I is very popular in Poland. Did you try Lider? It is maybe even better cream and recently they added another.
I was traveling last year (vacation) and I saw many totally new brands with very good reviews. I was buying like crazy and now I can not explore other stuff.
Wars is one of the first Polish company which still is strong on the market with their unique products. If they will invest in marketing and change maybe visual effect of tube it could compete with the best. Try aftershave balm...if you enjoy cream the balm will make you very happy.

I haven't tried the aftershave. I used it with some T&H Sandalwood AS and they blended well together.

Wars is some great stuff. I got a tube in a PIF and love it. I also have a tube of Lider. I like the performance of Wars more, but I like the scent of Lider more. You can't go wrong with either cream.

Well time to necro this thread. Found Wars classic at a local Polish supermarket for 1.59 including tax. The also had the after shave and assorted other Polish shaving products, but wasn't about to stock up as I have more than enough so just picked up the cream for now.

Used it for the first time this morning. Very very easy to lather. Scent is a cross between violet and flowery. It is a very light scent. Real nice product for the price.
