Vulfix brushes

As I posted earlier, I'm looking to upgrade from my Tweezerman badger brush. I have been looking at different brushes and really like the looks/size of the Vulfix 1000A. Are these decent brushes. How do they compare to the OMEGA pure badger brushes? :confused1
Also, are the $20+ boar brushes a good upgrade choice? I prefer face lathering with creams, but do have some glycerin soaps that I like.
(I'm just full of questions tonight....<G>)

I own this brush, it was my first one... can't really compare it to OMEGA since I don't own one... can't really go wrong with it especially at the price. I use a SIRIO brush available at Douglas here in Germany now and at 14.99€ which I feel is superior to both brushes due to the larger size.

I had a Vulfix 1000A and dropped it like a bad habit. It has a cheezy little plastic handle and was not unlike using a toothbrush. I like Vulfix brushes, just NOT this one.
There are a ton of better choices out there. The Big Omega Pro 48/49 are outstanding brushes for around $9.00 An Omega 636 Badger is a good, correctly priced choice as well.

Lest we forget the ever popular Semogue 1350 boar and also one of my all time favorites the Omega 11126 boar.

Every brush listed here can be had for $45 or less....the boars are all $25 or less.

Other popular offerings from both Vulfix and Simpson can be had for less than $50.00. I do not recommend the Vulfix Pure Badger though; it just isn't nice.

eh ya it feels abit cheap, but really its quiet a functional brush (ie... lathers and applies said lather!)... That said there are alternatives in this price range that ARE better. For a bit more you could get a brush from TGN...

I found this brush to be excellent!!! I did give it to a friend that I got into wet shaving and I would not give a friend an inferior product. In the same price range you can get a Simpson Special or for a little more you can get a Simpson Berkley...all 3 are wonderful brushes though...

I have the Vulfix 2006B which is about 25 bucks give or take. I like it. I used it over the weekend. I always face lather and find it works fine for me but I don't have a huge stock of brushes either.

I've always found Vulfix brushes to be top of the line, I've owned several, but now I only have the 2234 which is my most often used brush of my 5 brush rotation.

I have the Vulfix 2235 in Super Badger and I like it very much. Very soft and comfortable on the face, holds water and heat well, and whips up tons of lather with creams and soft soaps. The handle is also designed well.

I have that same brush and agreed, it is a fine bit of work. Big, big difference between that and the 1000A though

My Vulfix 2233 and 514, both boars, shed alarmingly. That being said, they are unquestionably good performers.
