Virgin Island Bay Rum

doctordial

my brain goes "thonk"
Is any familiar with this bay rum? It has what I think is palm leaves or bay leaf leaves woven around the bottle.

If you are talking about this:

You'll find a lot of info with the search feature. Or search google as follows: Virgin Island Bay Rum site:badgerandblade.com

It's very spicy or "clovey" which to me, overpowers the bay scent. Very strong initial burst, but doesn't last too long. Alcohol based - no glycerine.

The only Bay Rum I know about that has a bottle wrapped in any leafy material is St. John's Bay Rum, but it's not called Virgin Island Bay Rum. It references the West Indies on the bottle FWIW.

Who makes that product? If it's not Pinaud, then most of the reviews you find here will not be talking about what you're interested in, since Pinaud's version is also called Virgin Island Bay Rum.
