Gents, some of you know that I collect vintage watches. I also collect vintage women watches. When I come across something interesting, I will usually purchase it.
I recently purchased these two interesting watches. The first one is a Tissot Turler windup. It is vintage 50's-60's. During this era, Omega was providing mechanical movements for Tissot. Turler is an upscale jewelry shop in Switzerland that contracted with Tissot and other watchmakers to provide watches for their stores.
The second one is Bucherer windup from the same era. During this time period, Rolex provided watches that were rebranded for this company. Bucherer is another upscale jewelry store in Switzerland.
These are real cool watches with a pedigree history.
By today's standards, these are small watches. The Tissot Turler only measures 16mm. The Bucherer measures 26mm.
